RMYA Meadowland Long-Term Residential Care

RMYA Meadowland is set on a 42-acre campus in Boerne, TX. Children (ages 6-17 years) live in a safe, comfortable, and structured environment, with 24-hour direct care. Services include counseling, medical care, nutritious meals, education, recreational and cultural activities, and life skills instruction.

Children at Meadowland are in the Texas foster care system, through no fault of their own. Meadowland provides long-term residential care through a home-like, caring, and therapeutic setting for children to heal from severe abuse and trauma. With therapeutic intervention and caring, these children will reach adulthood with a chance to heal and have happy, productive lives.

The campus at Meadowland includes six residential cabins for up to 80 children. Other on-campus facilities include a gymnasium with a weight room, music room, computer lab, and library; the Oaks Academy of Meadowland Charter District for 1st-12th grade students; and the Burdick Community Center. Additionally, the campus has a jogging track, playgrounds, several ball fields, basketball courts, a swimming pool, and a pool house.

The Meadowland Campus accepts male and female children who have been neglected, abused, abandoned, or exposed to violence. RMYA’s policy does not discriminate in the manner in which it provides services or in the manner in which it screens applicants. At no time will a referral be denied admission to the program based on sex, race, color, national origin, political belief, religion, sexual or gender orientation.
