RMYA The Bridge Emergency Shelter
Children needing a safe place to stay for a short period of time receive 24-hour care while a more permanent placement is determined. The Bridge Emergency Shelter cares for trafficked, runaway, homeless, foster youth and children transitioning from juvenile probation.
RMYA Centro Seguro Drop-In Center
RMYA’s Centro Seguro Drop-In Center is a 24-hour drop-in center & youth up to 24 years of age, who are at-risk or victims of trafficking, homelessness, runaway, or other unsafe living conditions. While at the drop-in center, youth receive a hot shower, meal, change of clothing, and access to immediate therapeutic services.
RMYA Family Counseling & Resource Center
RMYA’s Family Counseling & Resource Center offers low or no cost individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, parenting classes, and child psychiatric services for community children and families struggling with emotional, mental and behavioral issues. Services provided by licensed clinicians and clinical interns. We accept Medicaid and some private insurance.
RMYA TurningPoint Transitional Living Program
Former foster care youth and homeless community youth (18-24 years) live independently in a home with roommates, receiving professional case management, weekly counseling, job and life skills, to help them meet their goals and leave the program ready to become productive members of our community.
RMYA Thrift Shop
Donations of in-kind items are coordinated by the Thrift Shop. items are either distributed to our residential programs or sold through the Thrift Shop, with proceeds benefitting our children’s programs.
Meadowland Campus
RMYA Meadowland Long-Term Residential Care
Meadowland is set on a 42-acre campus in Boerne, TX. Children ages 6-17 live in a safe, comfortable and structured environment with 24-hour care, including: counseling, medical care, nutritious meals, education, recreational and cultural activities, and life skills instruction.
RMYA Meadowland Charter District
Designed to help our residential children with special behavioral and emotional needs succeed academically, The Oaks Academy is open to Boerne community students in 1st through 12th grades. Stepping Stones Academy is open to residents of our San Antonio campus. A therapeutic component is interwoven with curriculum and teachers are certified in their subject areas and special education. www.mlcs.org
RMYA Burdick Community Center
The venue is located on our beautiful Meadowland Campus. Rental fees benefit RMYA children’s programs. www.burdickcommunitycenter.org/
