The Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) Foundation was formed in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting organization for the benefit of RMYA. The RMYA Foundation accepts, administers, and manages gifts, bequests, and property on behalf of RMYA, and in so doing, ensures that RMYA therapeutic and residential programs will be able to serve the children, families, and community who need us for years to come.
Since the age of 9, A.J. was bouncing between foster homes. At age 14, he moved to RMYA Meadowland. This was the first time where he truly felt people cared about him. A.J. lived at Meadowland through high school graduation and transitioned into RMYA’s Turning Point program. “Meadowland turns broken kids into fixed adults and Turning Points turns fixed adults into working men and women.”, said A.J. He was recently promoted to a manager position at work.
Kids aren’t here because they are bad. They are here because bad things happened to them. Help us break the cycle and reignite a child’s dream.
"What I got from RMYA? I got a home. I got home. I found a home"
