A San Antonio teen philanthropist is donating 150 homemade blankets to children living at the Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) shelter in San Antonio.
The center supports children who have been abused, neglected or sex-trafficked.
The 18-year-old started her non-profit Sam’s Covers when she was 12-years-old.
“In these circumstances, money is preferred but in normal circumstances, time and people and hands is what we really need the most,” said Samantha Sanchez, Founder & CEO of Sam’s Covers.
Sam’s Covers has donated more than 1,200 blankets to children staying at RMYA.
